Hair Compass AI keeps your hair, scalp, routine, photo, lab, trigger, and procedure history in one private place on your iPhone. Most questions below come down to one of two things: Apple manages your subscription, and your data never leaves your device.

Subscriptions

• Premium subscriptions are purchased through, and managed by, Apple.
• If a purchase isn't showing up, use Restore Purchases inside the app.
• To manage or cancel, open your Apple subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).

AI features

• AI-powered features run on-device and require Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, on iOS 26).
• These features are optional — every record works without them.
• AI outputs are informational only and are not medical advice.

Health access

• With your permission, the app can read selected Apple Health data (sleep, stress-related signals, and similar context).
• You can change Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iPhone Settings.

Photos and camera

• The app can capture and import photos for scalp and hair tracking.
• Camera and photo permissions are managed in iPhone Settings.

Affiliate links

• Hair Compass AI may include affiliate links to non-medication physical products.
• These are optional and do not replace clinician guidance.
